A former nurse, who killed 4 patients at 2 hospitals in Leeds, is being allowed to appeal. 33 year old Colin Norris from Glasgow has been sentenced to at least 30 years. He gave massive doses of insulin to a woman back in 2002.
3 men charged with attempted murder after an attack in Hull have been in court. A 45 year old man was left badly injured, early on Sunday. It happened opposite a pub and he's now stable at Hull Royal.
2 teenagers who beat a man to death in Hull have been jailed for life. 35 year old Simon Ash was attacked by Bret Atkins and Carl Marshall back in April. The 19 year olds also beat up another man, leaving him with serious head and face injuries.
A man who's accused of peeing on a war memorial in Leeds has been bailed. Ian Marshall's charged with outraging public decency, but he didn't put in a plea today. The 49 year old was arrested in Headingley on November 27th.
A builder from North Yorkshire who kidnapped a woman and her 2 year old daughter has got 12 years in prison. Tony Scaife had a gun and threatened to kill them if he wasn't given £20,000. The pair were held for 18 hours and Scaife's son was given a 10 year sentence for helping him.
